Unknown Lake- Day one and Two

Driving in on Friday night was an amazing thing for us. Seeing the family and reconnecting with people we havent seen for months/years was a blessing. So many family members were able to make it this year, making it a very special and a extra fun time at Unknown Lake. I know Butter and his family have many, MANY memories spending time together here. I am happy and blessed to be able to share it with their family as well as my children to have these memories for themselves in the future.

A Day In Portland

After a red eye, layover and delay in JFK we have finally made it to Portland Maine! I forgot how beautiful and green it is over here. We were all pretty excited to make it to our destination! For lunch we headed to a highly recommended place called Gilbert's. Of course Taylor and I had some yummy steamed mussels and clam chowder. Brady tried and liked as well!

Teresa and Bella met us at the restaurant and from there enjoyed time together in between walking around town and relaxing in the hotel. Tomorrow off to Unknown Lake, where we will visit with family, smores, bonfire talks and just spending quality time!

Funderland AgAin

Well who said you cant take a break from packing and cleaning to get a little play time in? The kids and I went to Funderland again this summer! This was our last visit here before Taylor starts the 1st grade, and we had a great time. The weather was low 90's, sunny and beautiful. Here are some pictures from our day with a little random shots too.

State Fair 2010

California State Fair was in town! We had a blast with all the food, rides, friends(o'Briens and Ruegge's) and weather. We started off straight for the food. Taylor and Butter indulged in corn on the cobs, then I got deep fried artichoke hearts (that Tay stole), deep fried twinkie (YUM) and the experiment of the year was....chocolate covered bacon(butter's idea). We all tried it, and it wasn't anyones favorite, but you have to try something new.
