Bishop's Farm Playdate

Today was a mee-tup with our friends at Bishop's Farm. Sadly, Taylor was in school, but it was a great one on one time with Brady. Harper slept the whole time in the stroller, while Brady and I fed the animals, rode the train (twice), walked around and enjoyed the scenery.

We had a great time...Brady fell asleep within a minute after getting in the car. It makes me extremely happy and grateful that I am able to do this with the kids. Creating memories that hopefully in the future they will remember they did with me.

Funderland AgAin

Well who said you cant take a break from packing and cleaning to get a little play time in? The kids and I went to Funderland again this summer! This was our last visit here before Taylor starts the 1st grade, and we had a great time. The weather was low 90's, sunny and beautiful. Here are some pictures from our day with a little random shots too.

Bridgewater Lakes Park

Today was such a beautiful day! Instead of being 105 it was a wonderful 92 with a breeze. So instead of doing the pool again (we have been going to the pool 3x a week), we went to the water park. As you can see, they had a GREAT time.!

Trying to keep the kids busy during summer is going to be a challenge. There are so many things to do, but only so much to do in 100 degree weather. Thank goodness today was 85 with a nice breeze. We tried out a new place in Fair Oaks called the Effie Yeaw Nature Center. It was cute for 15minutes or so, but definitely not long enough to tire the kids out or keep their attention for long. We did see snakes, owls, turtles and lizards. As well as a walk on the trail to look at some trees and different plants in the area. A fun little picnic area to hand out with friends and enjoy nature. After we were done at the Nature Center we decided to let the kids run off some energy at a nearby Park. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Funderland Fun

The weather is getting better, that means playdates for the kids and I! May 21,2010, we went to a little amusement park in Sacramento called Funderland. Brady and Taylor both had a great time! We filled the afternoon with roller coasters, train, car and log rides. Needless to say we were all exhausted by the time we left.
