Taylor's First Soccer Game

The soccer season started last week. Taylor was sick and was able to join the team in their first win and game of the season...but this week she was there and worked hard. The Fireflies did not win their game, but they showed great heart and had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures

Fairytale Town

Today we decided to go to Fairytale town with a few of our friends. Brady had a great time running off his energy and keeping me on my toes. I hope you enjoy the new pics of him. He was actually letting me take pictures...and smiling for the camera. Alleluia! He has been in a slump lately.

Camping..Labor Day weekend!!

What a great 3 day weekend to go camping! We headed to Lake Francis in Dobbins, CA again with our neighbors and friends the Trenz Family. This trip we had quite a few mishaps for us Butterfields, but we had a BLAST.

The first night our air mattress decided to get a hole...all weekend we did our best to repair the hole with patches, tape more patches and crossing our fingers. But, it never worked in our benefit. Unfortunately, the Trenz's had the same problem with their air mattress...damn the rocks. Next, Taylor decided to head down a hill on her bike before being completely confident in her breaks. Needless to say I jumped in front of the bike after she was getting too much speed and her not being able to stop herself. I broke my sandals in the process, but Taylor is safe and instead of falling and breaking a bone or over the hill she was just terrified and left with a couple scratches. It must have been a sight to see a 9month old prego mom jumping in front of a fast moving bike. Glad it worked in both of our benefit.

We aren't done folks...then Butter decided to shut off the truck, which was on a incline..oh and yup it was never put into the parking gear(totally not my fault for this one. phewww). While Brady and I were behind the truck i noticed it was moving when i YELLED. Thankful for butter! He jumped into the passenger side and was able to hold the break until i was able to run in and put the truck into park and say a little prayer that no one was hurt or the car is still in tact.

Then last but not least, Butter wanted to pretend he was a BMX bike rider with his new bike. So he went up a steep dirt hill got his foot caught and fell directly on his back. He is fine, but showed us where Brady gets his gracefulness from ;)

But, even with all the chaos we all had a great time. The kids rode quads, bikes, played and got dirty. I think that would make any kid a happy camper...Tay's only request was a smore.

Soccer Pictures

Taylor started soccer early August. So far the practices have been going well and she is greatly enjoying the time with friends and playing the sport. Today was Picture day! She looked so cute in her soccer gear, we had to post some pictures. Her first game is on Sept. 11, and we will definitely be posting pictures and how she did then. Until then enjoy.

With two kids and one on the way, Butter and I have not had much time to spend time with just the two of us. But, 8 months ago we bought DMB tickets...so this has been a long time coming and we had a BLAST. It was a great show! They played for 3 hrs and didn't disappoint at all. Here are some pictures.
