Thunder Hole and BBQ with friends in Maine

We drove up to Bar Harbor today and enjoyed a great day as a family. Even though the weather wasn't the best, we made the best of what we had. Started the afternoon eating at Rupununi's, where I had Lobster empanadas (to die for!!!) Tay had steamed clams and Butter had fish and chips.

After walking around, Butter took us to see Thunder Hole. The kids loved the experience....especially collecting some crab shells and seeing a live crab. Taylor cried because she was soooo scared her daddy would get hurt by the crap...but i had to get up close to take a picture of the guy.

After our trip to Thunder Hole we drove to Trenton to visit a little with Chris Wright, Sonya and met his son Cameron. The kids collected plenty of sea shells for souvenirs!

Then off we went to Matt and Sarah's back in Bangor for a friends and family BBQ. It was so fun to meet the kids we haven't met yet and visited with friends. I know Butter really enjoyed catching up!

A Day with friends in Bangor

Visiting Bangor is always running around visiting with everyone we can before we leave. This trip is definitely no different! We started the started the day picking up Jerry and running around town so he can find a suit. The family (including me) all got new Pats hats and some pats/red sox gear.

Had some fun in the pool at the Robichaud's again, then finished the day at the Walden's. Busy. fun filled and totally worth it.

Our last Afternoon on Unknown Lake

The time has come that we have to say good-bye to unknown lake this year. We spent the morning/afternoon spending quality time with loved ones we probably wont see until next year. It was an amazing time for all of us! Taylor and Brady enjoyed themselves immensely. I think this is such a great and perfect place for kids/adults to create memories, family to reunite and once again be a part of. We are so blessed we were able to make it this yr. It was way too long, and we hope to make it again next year!

We headed to Bangor and stayed the night with the Robichaud's. We finally met Maggie. She is the cutest thing ever!

Another beautiful day. What else can I say. Taylor is a camp natural, Brady finally is getting use to it...and sadly tomorrow we have to leave. Enjoy the pics.

What a beautiful day today was! I cant even explain the serenity of nature when you wake up. We all had a great day of laughter, great weather, water fun, great food (butter cooked yummy ribs and we made pebre for the family to snack on), and beautiful scenery.
